The Subaru WRX Is a Strong Performer

With its turbocharged 2.4-liter engine, the WRX feels very lively. This engine gives it 271 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Plus, it's been matched with symmetrical all-wheel drive, which can enhance traction if you ever run into tough conditions around Lyme. Additionally, all-wheel drive can come into play when you're cornering or accelerating.

You can have some fun behind the wheel of a WRX. It comes standard with a fully-synchronized six-speed manual transmission, making it somewhat unique in the Subaru lineup. If you prefer something different, you could opt for the top-of-the-line GT trim since it uses a Subaru Performance Transmission instead.
