Tips For Touch Up Paint Application

After a long winter, you often end up with a few nicks or dings on your vehicle. Not every bit of damage requires an entire paint job. You can often use a bit of touch up paint to get the job done yourself. We have a few tips to share with you so you do a good job.
  • Make sure you buy your paint from a Subaru parts department. If you buy a product on the internet, we can't guarantee that it's going to end up looking anything like your current paint color.
  • Make sure your vehicle is clean and completely dry before applying the paint.
  • Make sure that you don't have any product newly applied to the area you are treating. This includes waxes and polishes. This could affect how well the paint adheres to the vehicle. It could also affect the overall finish.
